Prints featuring Damon Hill

Damon Hill won the 1996 world championship for the Williams Grand Prix team. Damon was a true old-school gentleman driver, and had huge support from both fans in the UK and abroad. This was evidenced in my prints featuring Damon, which were amongst my best sellers. Damon consistently faced the challenge of racing against Michael Schumacher, and came close to winning the title in both 1994 and 1995, which helped his support no end, being seen as the british underdog. His determination eventually won through, when Schumacher moved to the Ferrari team in '96.

Damon Hill, Imola 1996

This formula 1 print features pencil drawn portraits of Damon Hill, with him leading Schumacher to victory at Imola in his Williams FW18 on route to the 1996 Championship. It was the defining moment early in the season in which he finally stamped his authority on the championship over his German rival.

Each print measures 450 x 326mm approx. and is printed on fine quality paper. The edition is limited to 350 copies. Each print is hand signed & numbered by Simon Taylor. This edition sold out in a month, but a retained a small number of copies. Price £125.00 including postage.

Damon Hill, World Champion 1996

This formula 1 print features pencil drawn portraits of Damon Hill, with him defending his position from Gerhard Berger early on in the Championship deciding race at Suzuka in his Williams FW18, driving an emphatic race to win the 1996 Championship.

Each print measures 450 x 326mm approx. and is printed on fine quality paper. The edition is limited to 500 copies. Each print is hand signed & numbered by Simon Taylor. This edition sold out in a month, but a retained a small number of copies. Price £85.00 including postage.

Gentleman Champions - Damon and Graham Hill

This formula 1 print features pencil drawn portraits of Damon and his father Graham Hill, with their championship winning cars, Damon's Williams FW18 in which he won the 1996 Championship, and Graham in his Lotus 49 in which he secured his 2nd championship title in 1968, having previously won in 1962.

Damon Hill - Jordan 198

This formula 1 print features portraits of Damon Hill, and his Jordan 198 which he drove so successfully in 1998, showing off his driving talent to disprove those who claimed he could only win in a dominant Williams car. This was part of a series of prints released in 1998 which marked a departure for my work away from pencil drawing into painted works.
