Prints featuring Nigel Mansell

There's not much to say about Nigel Mansell, the peoples Champion, who narrowly missed out on winning the Formula 1 Championship in 1986, 97, and 91, to finally win it in 1992. With his underdog status and bulldog personality, the support that Nigel had from the British public was huge, and I remember attending the 1992 British Grand Prix where more than 160,000 people attended - a record which lead to restrictions on ticket sales. Nigel was a real racer and pulled off some incredible victories and overtaking manoevres - who can forget him overtaking Berger round the outside in his Ferrari at the Mexican Grand Prix in 1990, flat out in top gear! Incredible bravery. Mansell is the only driver in history to hold both the Formula One and CART championships at the same time - when he won the 1993 CART championship he was still the reigning F1 world champion.
